Board of Directors
Rhoda Moten, born on Fort Kansas Army Base located in North Central Kansas, discovered her lifelong passion for beauty and cosmetology at an early age. After obtaining her cosmetology license from the International Beauty Academy in 1999, she embarked on a journey that has spanned over two decades of excellence in the beauty industry. Her journey took a meaningful turn in the early 2000s when she began assisting individuals facing medical hair loss. Rhoda's compassion and expertise have since empowered countless clients to regain their confidence and embrace their beauty despite the challenges they face. In 2003, Rhoda achieved a significant milestone by opening her first salon, where her creativity and dedication to her craft blossomed. Rhoda is deeply engaged in philanthropy and community service. Her passion for giving back stems from a belief in the transformative power of support and encouragement.
Oliver Ross is a seasoned entrepreneur, community leader and native of Daytona Beach, FL with a diverse portfolio of achievements. Oliver has dedicated his career to driving economic growth and fostering community development in his hometown. Oliver pursued his passion for business by obtaining a Business Administration Degree from Daytona State College after graduating from Spruce Creek High School. His educational foundation coupled with a strong sense of duty led him to serve his country in the U.S. Army, where he honed invaluable leadership skills and a commitment to excellence. Oliver founded Ross Enterprise of Daytona Inc., a thriving business that has become synonymous with innovation and integrity in the local business community. As CEO, Oliver oversees the company's expansion into various sectors, including real estate development and entrepreneurship.
Valencia Robinson, Ed.S was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in October 2006. She was busy enjoying life as a high school English teacher and a mother of a 3, 4, 5, and 8 year old. Her experience ignited in her a passion to become an advocate for others, especially as she saw so many women suffering and dying after their diagnosis. She joined the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation and became a member of their Board. An active member, she serves on various committees advocating for research and treatments. In 2013 she was selected as a National Teacher of the Year by People Magazine. She is an author and speaker who uses her personal testimony to encourage others to change their outlook on the miracle of daily life. Valencia expanded her advocacy to a national level. She graduated from NBCC's Project LEAD science training program in 2017. She is an author and speaker who uses her personal testimony to encourage others to change their outlook on the miracle of daily life. Valencia continues to embrace every opportunity to educate herself as an advocate and makes certain she disseminates what she learns to her community and beyond.
